This position is ideal for seasoned dosimetrists who bring advanced expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to mentoring junior staff. The Senior Dosimetrist will collaborate closely with physicians, physicists, and clinical teams to ensure precision, safety, and quality in patient treatment.Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Medical Dosimetrist, you will:Lead the design and optimization of advanced treatment plans using 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS techniquesPerform and oversee contouring, image registration (rigid and deformable), and dose accumulation processesReview and validate treatment plans for accuracy, compliance, and clinical effectivenessMentor and support junior dosimetrists and contribute to training initiativesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and coordinated patient careParticipate in quality assurance programs and contribute to protocol developmentEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and clinic-specific documentation requirementsQualifications:Certification/EducationCMD certified in current good standing with MDCBBS or MS from accredited program or equivalent experienceExperienceMinimum 10 years of clinical experience performing clinical dosimetryExpertise with:Varian Linacs, Eclipse, Aria and RadformationRegistrations – Rigid and DeformableAdditional experience preferred:Proficiency with multiple planning systemsAdaptive planningPlan QA creationAI ContouringEQD2/BED calculationsSecond check systemsOther emerging technologiesSkills & AttributesExpert-level understanding of dosimetry principles and radiation oncology workflowsStrong leadership and mentoring abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills across clinical disciplinesHigh attention to detail and strong analytical thinkingAbility to manage complex cases and contribute to clinical decision-makingBenefitsCompetitive compensation.PTO plan with paid company holidays.Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription).401(k) Plan with company match after 1 year of employment.Group Life & Voluntary Life Insurance.Short-Term & Long-Term Disability.Flexible Spending Account (FSA).Health Spending Account (HSA).Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location, as well as candidate experience, education level and expertise.
