Geotechnical Engineering TechnicianLocation: Denver, COPay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (depending on certifications and experience)Job Type: Full-TimeAbout the PositionWe are seeking a dependable and motivated Geotechnical Engineering Technician to join our growing team in the Denver metro area. This position involves performing field testing, inspection, and documentation on construction projects to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.If you enjoy working outdoors, have strong attention to detail, and want to grow your career in the geotechnical and construction materials testing industry, we'd like to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesPerform field testing and inspection of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.Conduct density testing, concrete sampling, slump, air content, and temperature testing.Document field observations and complete accurate daily reports.Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients.Ensure testing procedures comply with ASTM, AASHTO, and project specifications.Maintain testing equipment and company vehicles.Travel to various construction sites throughout the Denver metro area.QualificationsACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certification required.Previous geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing experience preferred.Knowledge of ASTM and AASHTO testing procedures.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.Preferred CertificationsNuclear Gauge Safety CertificationWAQTC CertificationsICC CertificationsAdditional materials testing certifications are a plus.Compensation & Benefits$25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on certifications and experienceOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off and paid holidays401(k) with company matchCompany vehicle or mileage reimbursement (where applicable)Paid training and certification assistanceCareer advancement opportunitiesScheduleMonday–FridayFull-timeOvertime and occasional weekend work may be required based on project schedules.Apply TodayIf you're an ACI-certified technician looking to join a team that values safety, quality, and professional growth, we'd love to hear from you.
