Warehouse AssociatePart-Time (20hrs/week) - Dover, DEJoin Our Life Saving Mission!Full Benefits Available!The Warehouse Associate is responsible for preparing and organizing equipment and supplies for blood drives, loading and unloading transport vehicles, and, as needed, operating a blood bank vehicle to transport materials to and from mobile drive sites and donor centers. This position is designated as essential and may be required to work during severe weather or emergency operations.Part-Time Hours Flexible Schedule 20 hours per week***Key ResponsibilitiesPrepares equipment and supplies for blood drives. Assures all supplies necessary for a successful drive are packed as needed. Maintains supplies in a neat and orderly fashion and follows regulatory requirements when returning them to the storage area after a blood drive.Maintains mobile storage inventory and works closely with Donor Services to determine mobile’s needs projecting forward one month so that ample inventory will always be on hand.Enters certain supplies, lot numbers and expiration dates into BBCS system as required upon arrival. Maintains a comprehensive inventory and reports to the Finance Department what supplies are needed and the current level of inventory on hand for mobile operations.Keeps inventory spaces organized, neat, clean and free of trash.Exemplifies BBD’s Core Values and meets or exceeds internal and external customer’s service expectations. EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.ExperienceValid Driver's License.2+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory, loading, shipping, or receiving.
