SEO & Content Writing Intern (Remote, Part-time)

About the RoleWe are looking for an SEO & Content Writing Intern to join us for a 3-month remote internship (renewable). This is a flexible, low-workload opportunity ideal for students or aspiring writers and marketers who want to gain hands-on experience in SEO, content creation, and early-stage brand growth.You’ll collaborate directly with the founders to create high-quality content and improve Mandarin Zest’s visibility on search engines.What You’ll DoWrite SEO-optimized articles related to Chinese language learning (guides, explainers, resources, etc.)Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunitiesOptimize existing content for search engines (on-page SEO)Structure articles for readability and user intentContribute content ideas aligned with SEO and growth strategySupport internal linking and basic content organizationWorkload & StructureDuration: 3 months Remote and flexibleExpected output: ~2-3 articles per month (depending on length and depth)Who We’re Looking ForPassionate about writing, SEO, and/or language learningIdeally a student or recent graduate looking to build a portfolioStrong writing skills in English (native or near-native level)Basic understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, search intent, etc.)Detail-oriented and able to write clear, structured contentAble to work independently and meet deadlinesInterest in Chinese language or cultureWhat You’ll GainReal experience in SEO and content writingA strong portfolio with published, optimized articlesDirect collaboration in building a growing educational platformInsight into content strategy, organic growth, and SEO performanceFull credit for all content you contribute toCompensationThis is an unpaid internship.
