You will be responsible for the Welcome Desk.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis list is not all-inclusive and is just a basic overview of the duties and responsibilities of a Dog Lodge Kennel Tech.Work the Welcome Desk - check-ins, check-outs, scheduling appointments, paymentsHandle petsProvide excellent customer serviceCalm anxious petsKeep the Dog Lodge in tip top shapeAssist kennel staffAssist grooming staffEffectively communicate with grooming and kennel staff, management, clientsAvailable to work weekend and holidaysEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentCustomer service experiencePrevious professional experience working with animals preferred (daycare, shelter, vet, groomer, boarding, etc.)Skills and Abilities of a successful Dog Lodge memberAttention to detailStrong customer service skillsBright self-starter who can work independently and make common sense decisionsEffective communication and coordination skillsComputer, phone, and typing skillsFeel comfortable in a large group of dogsQuick reaction time in unpredictable situationsComfortable working in a loud and fast paced environmentTeam player
