Director of Preconstruction - Fit Out

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Director with an established track record in the fit out sector across London and the South East. This is a senior position for someone who already has deep industry relationships, understands the market inside out, and can generate opportunities through their existing network.This is not a role for someone trying to “break into” fit out or build contacts from scratch. Extensive fit out experience and the proven ability to bring in work are absolute requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all pre-construction activities from initial enquiry through to contract awardIdentify and secure new project opportunities within the fit out sectorUse your existing industry contacts and network to generate new businessBuild and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, project managers, and commercial teamsOversee tender submissions, bid strategies, and project negotiationsWork closely with estimating, operations, and delivery teams to ensure commercially viable project winsHelp shape the company’s growth strategy within the London and South East fit out marketEssential RequirementsSignificant experience within construction fit out in London and the South East England marketProven ability to bring in new work through an established client and industry networkStrong understanding of commercial fit out projects and pre-construction processesTrack record of winning profitable projectsExcellent commercial awareness and negotiation skillsAbility to operate at senior level with minimal supervisionWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone commercially aggressive, connected, and capable of opening doors immediately.
