Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Civil Designer/Engineer in Coral Gables!Your work environment at EXPThe candidate will serve as a Civil Designer/Engineer in the Coral Gables Office in the Municipal Division that is primarily focused on municipal, transportation, and infrastructure projects. The candidate will work on various projects and act as a member of the municipal team and will get an opportunity to work on a wide-range of projects involving transportation, highway design, design review and construction oversight.What a day at EXP has in store for youPerform and engineering design tasks for infrastructure projects from conceptual design to final design.Develop plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.Possess excellent in-depth knowledge of roadway design software tools including AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GeoPak or Inroads.Mentor and develop new engineers in transportation and highway design.Lead and coordinate design activities between staff, subcontractors, and clientsPerform technical analyses and reviews of infrastructure projects.Support Project Managers to ensure projects meet the defined schedules, cost estimates, and performance/technical measures and specifications. This includes development of Project Management Plans, Scopes of Work, Cost Estimates, and other project management related activities.Assists in preparing and developing proposals, presentations, reports, and studies.Performs other related duties as assigned.What Your Experience Looks LikeBachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering required. Preferably in civil, transportation engineering.0-1+ years of experience.EIT in the State of FL preferredIn depth knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation and GeoPak Open Roads (or InRoads) with a background in 3D modeling, ICPR.Strong technical design background in roadway design, water/sewer, water resources, and transportation engineering.Experience with FDOT and Florida Municipal agencies,Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise staff engineers and techniciansBasic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.About Us Our story With a mission to understand, innovate, partner and deliver, EXP provides engineering, architecture, design and consulting services to the world’s built and natural environments.Our heritage dates back to 1906, when the earliest of EXP’s predecessor companies started its engineering infrastructure practice.
