About The RoleThe Industrial Area Sales Manager (ASM) will achieve or exceedassigned sales and profitability goals by maintaining and growing salesof Castrol Industrial products and services in assigned territoriesthrough distribution and direct channel in a Business to Business (B2B)environment.Key AccountabilitiesLead and develop a profitable portfolio of accounts and prospectsDevelop profitable, long term strategic relationships with designated customersManage customer cost to serve and actively handle opportunity and risk pipelineParticipate in regular customer reviews (ownership of customer review)Utilize value selling and consultative skills to improve customer offers and perception of valueDevelop and maintain relationships at multiple levels of customer organization, including senior corporate relationshipsSupport Finance for credit and cash collectionLead and review Distributor business development plansKey Performance IndicatorsGross profit delivered to targetGrowth in share of customer accountsCustomer supplier excellence or supplier quality ratingsWhat You'll Need To Be Successful In This PositionBachelor’s degree, preferably in technical field or engineeringMinimum of 5 years industrial B2B sales experienceMust be technically savvy and experienced in using Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and other sales related toolsMust be skilled with using electronic mediaBusiness Partnering, consultative, selling and negotiations skillsProspecting experience with a Hunter mentality, ability to lead all aspects of pipelinesKnowledge and understanding in sustainability – energy savings, water reuseExpertise in Metalworking products and applications and/or Industrial Lubrication products and applications is strongly preferredValid Drivers LicenseWhy join usAt bp, we support our people to learn and grow in a diverse and ambitious environment.
