Electrical Machine Builder

The Machine Builder is responsible for assembling, installing, and testing mechanical/electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in industrial production and capitol machine builds. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of mechanical/electrical assembly, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading in full cycle builds. Key Responsibilities: o Assemble and install various types of industrial machinery/electrical equipment according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and technical manuals. o Perform functional tests on assembled machinery to ensure proper operation. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues as needed. o Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, modifications, and testing results. Update technical manuals as necessary. o Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to improve machinery design and functionality. o Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Education: o High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: o Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly or machine building. Skills: o Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. o Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. o Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Electro/mechanical basic skills -Basic 480 3phase, 24 volt DC wiring of main panels -Basic pneumatic plumbing using push lock fittings -Use of hand tool, including drilling and tapping holes, reading tape measure, drill press, bandsaw and hammer drill. -Mechanical and Electrical print reading ( basic ) Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Work Location: In person
