Backroom Associate

Back Room Associate – Consignment Shop Part-Time | Wednesday–Saturday | 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $15.50–$17/hour We are looking for a dependable, fashion-forward team member to join our back room processing team at our busy consignment shop. We are a faith-based, family-owned business that values kindness, teamwork, integrity, and a strong work ethic. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong eye for style and brands, and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep inventory moving efficiently. This role is especially great for someone with a background in shopping, thrifting, resale, or treasure hunting who understands the value of items and knows how to price merchandise appropriately for the resale market. One of the best parts of the job is getting to see all the unique and fun items that come through the shop every day. Responsibilities Include: Sorting and reviewing incoming drop-offs Processing and pricing merchandise Researching retail and resale values Assisting and communicating with consignors Organizing inventory and maintaining workflow efficiency Using computer systems for inventory entry and pricing Qualifications: Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and popular brands Understanding of retail and resale pricing Ability to appropriately price items based on brand, condition, demand, and resale value Comfortable typing and working on a computer efficiently Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to multitask and stay productive in a busy environment Friendly and professional communication skills Ability to lift, bend, move efficiently, and stay active throughout the workday Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday availability is required at least 3 weekends per month. Retail, resale, boutique, thrifting, or consignment experience is a huge plus.
