Grant Compliance

The Grant Compliance Specialist will provide analysis, post-award activities, and oversight to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. This position serves as a liaison for staff of grant funded programs for external, and internal fiscal compliance. Proven working experience in utilizing excel formulas, and functions to analyze and manipulate data for various purposes, such as grant budget, and tracking. Complete grants compliance checklists and launch materials for awarded grants as needed to ensure that grant staff have the necessary resources to comply with the grantor terms applicable to their grant related activities. Work with program directors to comply with the funders terms and conditions, manage deliverables, monitors spending, request amendments, and plan spend out. Provide administrative support to program directors to ensure submission of routine reports. Review of program data, and compliance with grant reporting and performance. Liaison between government funding agency and the Ministry of Caring for reporting accurately. Prepare, analyze, interpret, and present, tracking, and monthly statistics report. Ability to manage multiple activities in a high paced, deadline orientated environment. Other duties needed to help drive our vision, and fulfill our mission, of The Poor should never be treated poorly. Education/Experience: Associates degree in business REQUIRED. Experience with effective grant management, including generally accepted accounting principles and terminology and auditing principles. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and grant management or financial software. Skills and Knowledge: Dependable and cooperative. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently under minimal supervision as well as ability to set priorities and meet deadlines under pressure without sacrificing quality. Strong verbal and written communication skills General concern for the poor and sick and sensitivity to their need for dignity and respect.
