Job Type Full Time Schedule - Days Pay $128k - $137k + Depending on Experience Patients Per Day 18 - 20 EMR System - E-Clinical Work Location All Ages; Outpatient Job ID 60376 Job Description A San Jose, California based client is seeking an excellent Nurse Practitioner to provide care to patients of all ages in a community health center. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative NP who values providing equitable care to all populations. This role involves providing continuing, comprehensive wellness, preventative, and medical care to families. Required Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program in Family Practice Current California state NP license Current DEA certificate Current CPR certification Spanish fluency (preferred) Responsibilities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury; Maintaining the patient record in a timely fashion Provide narrative summaries in EMR to communicate patient information to other health care providers Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients Advise patients concerning diet, activity, and disease prevention Refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary About Provider Healthcare Provider Healthcare is a prominent healthcare recruitment firm that places highly qualified and skilled healthcare professionals in excellent employment opportunities across the country.
