Locum Tenens Urologist Opportunity Near Minot, NDWe are currently seeking aUrologistfor a locum tenens position near Minot, ND. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive urology services in both a clinic and call setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with TRUS biopsies and cystoscopies and should be comfortable working with a team of RNs and LPNs in a dynamic environment. Position Details:Profession : Physician Specialty : Urology Location : Near Minot, ND Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing Shift Type : Day shifts with weekend call FTE : 1.0 Practice Setting:Setting : Both clinic and hospital Clinic Environment : The clinic is located within the hospital, ensuring close collaboration with other departments. Support Staff :2 Registered Nurses (RNs) 1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Duties and Responsibilities:Clinic Duties :Manage an average of 1-3 patients daily Perform 5 in-clinic procedures per day Handle up to 30 scheduled patients dailyCall Duties :Provide weekend call coverage on a rotational basis Respond to emergent surgical needs Manage 1-3 stone cases as neededProcedures :Perform TRUS biopsies of the prostate Conduct cystoscopies and dilation proceduresSurgeries :Primarily focus on emergent cases Typically handle 4 scheduled surgeries on designated surgery daysRequirements:Certification :Board Certified or Board Eligible in UrologyState License : Active North Dakota state license required EMR : Experience with EPIC is preferred Experience :Proven ability to perform prostate biopsies with an RN Proficiency in cystoscopy without an ultrasound tech on siteAdditional Information:Reason for Coverage : This coverage is needed due to the absence of a permanent provider on staff. Robotics : Robotics experience is not required for this position.
