*Pay Rate:* $60-80k plus bonus
*Position Summary*
LindFast Solutions Group is seeking a hands-on Packaging Manager to lead the day-to-day packaging operations at an assigned LSG facility.
Reporting to the VAS Operations Manager, this role is responsible for translating the One LSG VAS operating model into consistent site-level execution. The Packaging Manager will lead people, workflow, productivity, quality, safety, equipment use, workplace organization, and customer-specific requirements on the packaging floor.
This position serves as the primary site-level leader and plays a critical role in improving throughput, reducing delays and defects, maintaining operational discipline, and building a safe, connected, accountable, and customer-focused team, while developing future leaders to support the continued growth of the business.
*What You’ll Do*
*As the Packaging Manager, you will provide:*
*Site-Level Operational Leadership*
· Lead daily packaging operations with clear site level goals, action plans, and operating expectations.
· Maintain a visible leadership presence on the floor and respond quickly to operational issues, constraints, equipment and employee needs
· Promote collaboration, accountability, urgency, and a One LSG operating culture throughout the site
· Develop employees to perform at a high level, while developing future leaders to help grow the business.
· Maximize operational efficiencies and asset utilization.
*Production Planning & Workflow Execution*
· Assign employees to equipment based on workload, skill requirements, due dates, and available capacity
· Assign workload based on business needs while managing peak efficiency
· Remove barriers that prevent jobs from moving efficiently
· Support load-leveling requests across the LSG VAS network as directed by the VAS Operations Manager
*Quality Control & Customer Requirements*
· Execute proper quality management system requirements including job set up, in-process checks, final inspection, and other established quality-control measures
· Ensure non-conforming work is identified, contained, documented, and moved to the proper quarantine location
· Partner with Quality to investigate defects, rework, scrap, and customer complaints and implement corrective actions
· Execute customer specific work instructions and SOP’s.
*What We’re Looking For*
· 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in packaging, manufacturing, distribution, or other value-added services
· Demonstrated experience managing daily production, labor assignments, productivity goals, quality control, and on-time completion
· Working knowledge of lean operations, 5S, process improvement, root-cause problem solving, equipment safety, and quality control
· Strong floor leadership, communication, coaching, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, packaging instructions, quality requirements, production schedules, and equipment manuals
· Proficiency with Excel, ERP/WMS systems, production reporting, and performance dashboards
· Ability to work on the floor, flex hours as operational needs require, and occasionally travel between LSG facilities

· Productivity, throughput, labor efficiency, and equipment utilization consistently meet established site goals
· Quality controls are executed, resulting in fewer defects, less rework, lower scrap, and stronger customer performance
· Employees are trained, qualified, accountable, and cross-trained to support workload changes and business growth
· Equipment, floor layouts, staging areas, and work cells support safe and efficient operations
