Technical support; EOL Technician

At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are seeking a Technical Support; EOL Technician based in Warren, Michigan. This proffesional should be available 24 hour, 7 days a week basis, to root cause, diagnose and repair controls/electrical/programming/robot issues either via remote or on site.Main functions to develop:Responds to a call/text/email/alert within a 30 minute window when contacted by private company maintenance or Client support staff from this company.Support tech should be well versed in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming and be capable of accessing other devices such as Keyence vision sensors and barcode readers.Be able to initially log into the machines/robot cells (depending on the fault or issue) via jump box that is currently being set up at private company by the Client.Appropriately diagnose the fault or issue (i.e. could be Mod Frame issue, where it faulted but will not reset, or a robot issue that had stopped working mid cycle, bowl feeder issue or jam that did not display on the HMI screen to name a few)Would be able to interact with the maintenance team on site at private company (EX: technician logs in, sees a fault with a jammed screw feeder, calls the maintenance tech has them purge the feed line and reset the driver, or robot stops, is not in danger, hits the reset button on the controller, and machine can continue as an example, and to be able effectively coach the maintenance technician through that sequence).If the online response is not effective or cannot reset or get the equipment up and running via remote access within a one hour window, will need an onsite presence within 90 minute of the initial notification to continue to root cause and work towards a solution.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineeringKnowledge of plastic injection molding, plating, painting, or assemblyExperience working in a manufacturing/ industrial settingCompensation and Benefits:Medical health insurance.Training and professional development opportunities.Flexible working hours and smartworking.At Itera Mobility Engineering, we cultivate a dynamic and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth.
