Athletic Trainer

Job DescriptionThe Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing hands-on care to assigned athletes within the organization by focusing on the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This position is eligible to receive a sign-on bonus.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of injuries, implement appropriate treatment protocols, and refer athletes to physicians when necessary.Support athletes in achieving improved functional independence while minimizing limitations and reducing the risk of re-injury.Provide on-site emergency care as necessary, within the scope of athletic training practices.Educate athletes and coaches on best practices for conditioning, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.Communicate with athletes, coaches, and physicians regarding treatment plans to ensure safe return-to-play decisions.Maintain accurate medical records by documenting assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress.Maintain your treatment stations, supplies, and equipment.QualificationsCAATE-accredited Bachelor's degree required.Active ATC and LAT licensure required.Active BLS certification required.Active CWIS, PATCH, and FBI clearances required.Prior work experience as an Athletic Trainer is preferred, but not required.
