SONIC Drive-In Assistant ManagerAs a SONIC Drive-In Assistant Manager, you are responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that guests will have an enjoyable experience at the SONIC Drive-In.Responsibilities include:Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating CarhopsDirects and assigns drive-in restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standardsAdheres to and monitors employee compliance of the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practicesPerforms restaurant opening and/or closing dutiesPrepares employee work schedules; monitors and makes appropriate adjustments to restaurant staffing levelsMonitors and maintains restaurant inventory levels. Places orders for food, paper and other supplies within cost control proceduresCompletes and maintains all drive-in restaurant employment related records and payroll recordsReinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on always serving the customerImmediately and respectfully resolves guest requests. Reports guest complaints to immediate supervisor and assists in resolving such complaintsInterview and hire restaurant crew and management team members to achieve proper staffing levelsPrepare all necessary operational reports. Develop appropriate action plans to resolve unfavorable financial and/or sales trendsDevelop and implement a marketing planAdditional Assistant General Manager Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required.
