Python Developer - TS/SCI w/Poly

To be considered for this position, you MUST have an ACTIVE Clearance Level of Top Secret/SCIJob Overview Probity is seeking a Python Developer / Database Engineer to support a high-impact enterprise initiative focused on modernizing system security through automation, continuous monitoring, and data-driven processes. This role involves building scalable backend systems, developing database-driven applications, and supporting cloud-based architectures.As part of this opportunity, candidates will complete a50-hour MongoDB training program provided by Probity at no cost , equipping them with hands-on NoSQL database expertise.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Python Build and manage database structures, queries, and data pipelines Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices Support cloud-based data storage, retrieval, and analysis workflows Create automated workflows to replace manual processes Troubleshoot and resolve system issues (break/fix, enhancements) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support full project lifecycle Contribute to system architecture and database design decisionsRequired Qualifications: Strong experience with Python 50-hour MongoDB training (provided by Probity at no additional cost) Experience with Django or Flask frameworks Experience developing REST APIs Familiarity with microservices architecturePreferred Qualifications: Experience with AWS, C2S, or other cloud platforms Familiarity with Docker / containerization Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI Proficiency with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence Experience with JSON/XML serialization Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
