Our culinary team highlights what is grown and raised within the Rio Grande River Basin, creating a menu shaped by agricultural abundance, regional flavors, and Pueblo history. Many ingredients come directly from our onsite Tamaya garden, allowing us to honor sustainable practices and serve food that is both nourishing and culturally meaningful.Position SummaryThe Specialty Dining Cook plays a key role in delivering a refined dining experience through exceptional culinary execution in a high-end, Southwestern-inspired restaurant setting. This position is responsible for preparing elevated menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency. The ideal candidate is passionate about regional cuisine, embraces scratch cooking techniques, and takes pride in working with locally sourced and garden-grown ingredients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities* Prepare, cook, and plate specialty menu items according to Corn Maiden recipes and presentation standards.* Execute techniques appropriate for fine dining, including grilling, roasting, sautéing, and specialty methods unique to Southwestern cuisine.* Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety and sanitationAssist with prep duties, stock rotation, and kitchen organization to support daily operations.Uphold the cultural values and storytelling behind the menu and Corn Maiden dining experience.Support a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment.View our Virtual Reality Experience to spend a 'day in the life' of a hospitality professional at a full-service hotel.
