Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Frisco, Texas Industry: Beauty / Consumer Products Reports to: Accounting Manager About the Role We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team at our beauty company in Frisco, TX. This role is responsible for managing customer invoicing, payments, and collections while maintaining accurate records and strong relationships with internal teams and customers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Operations Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time Apply customer payments (ACH, wire, checks, credit cards) to the correct accounts Monitor and manage AR aging reports and follow up on past-due balances Communicate professionally with customers regarding billing questions and payment status Collections & Customer Support Conduct routine collection outreach via email and phone Resolve billing discrepancies and short payments in a timely manner Partner with Sales and Customer Service to address account issues Maintain positive customer relationships while enforcing payment terms Reconciliations & Reporting Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger Assist with month-end close activities related to AR Prepare AR aging, collection status reports, and cash receipts summaries Support audit requests as needed Process & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Maintain organized documentation and customer records Identify opportunities to improve AR processes and efficiency Qualifications 2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience Strong understanding of AR processes and collections best practices Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and follow-up skills High attention to detail and strong time-management abilities Why Join Us Work with a growing beauty brand in an exciting industry Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within the accounting and finance team Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $55,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Work Location: In person
