Property Renovation Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Renovation Technician to join our property management team. This role focuses on apartment turns, renovations, and upgrades to ensure units are ready for new residents and maintained to high quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform apartment renovations and make-ready work, including: Drywall repair and patching, Interior painting, Flooring installation (vinyl plank, carpet, tile, etc.), Basic plumbing and electrical repairs, Cabinet, door, trim, and hardware installation, Appliance installation and minor repairs Complete unit turns between residents efficiently and accurately Identify maintenance issues and report larger repair needs Follow safety procedures and company standards Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines Ability to work a flexible on-call emergencies rotation Qualifications 2+ years of experience in apartment renovation, construction, or maintenance preferred Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting Ability to use hand and power tools safely Requires ownership of hand tools One (1) year experience in multifamily property maintenance preferred Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Strong customer service skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Renovation: 2 years (Required) Property maintenance: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Wichita, KS 67216 (Required) Work Location: In person
