Operational Systems Engineer

Operational Systems Engineer Location: Chantilly, VA (on-site client environment) Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits Only applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed. Responsibilities We are looking for a strong, senior level, technical leader looking to apply a multi-disciplined approach toward applying cybersecurity tactics to both offensive and defensive perspectives. You'll be part of a multi-faceted team of computer operators, SMEs, and systems experts with a joint task of developing web-based systems that improve the efficiency, usability, automation, and standardization of our projects. You will be building critical DevOps pipelines using AWS, Azure, Google technologies, GitLab CI/CD, and tools like Ansible and Terraform. Qualifications Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance. 7+ years of technical experience working in software engineering, application development, and/or web application development and deployment. A college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering, or a similarly related discipline, or an equivalent combination of technical experience, training, and/or military experience. Demonstrated experience programming in multiple coding languages in a virtual environment and infrastructure, such as Debian, Python, SQL, Linux, ProxMox, Docker, Rancher, and/or Kubernetes. 7+ years of experience developing APIs in relation to cross-domain solutions and with HA systems. A strong background in CI/CD relationships to cross-domain solutions and general software development. Experience supporting A&A efforts. Availability to travel CONUS and OCONUS on occasion.
