Traffic Flagger

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team on construction sites. The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of both workers and the public by directing traffic around construction zones. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Responsibilities Direct traffic flow around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and signage. Ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians by maintaining clear communication with team members. Monitor and report any hazardous conditions or potential safety issues to supervisors. Assist with utility locating and ensure that all necessary precautions are taken during operations. Collaborate with heavy equipment operators, including those operating backhoes, dump trucks, and loaders. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site. Requirements Prior experience is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation. Ability to effectively communicate with team members and the public. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required on construction sites. A valid driver's license is required for certain positions.
