Divine Dermatology and Surgical Institute strives to serve each and every patient with equal and exceptional dermatologic care and customer service regardless of age, gender, race, religion, or socioeconomic status. Our institute offers a wide range of dermatologic care including treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other dermatitis, skin cancer, including medical and surgical interventions, and cosmetic procedures including neuromodulators, fillers, chemical peels, and lasers. While most of our patients are well, life threatening and life-altering diagnosis will be encountered and must be met with sensitivity.
Clerical work such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and taking insurance information
Gather and prepares patient for office visits including obtaining and documenting chief complaints, medical histories, medications, allergies, and vital signs
Act as a scribe to the physician and document all portions of the encounter in real time on the iPad based medical record system
Assists provider with necessary medical office procedures including complex wound care, incision and drainage, skin biopsies, Mohs surgery and cosmetic procedures such as chemical peels, botox, fillers, and lasers
Administers medications including injections of local anesthesia
Communicate biopsy results over the phone
Provides and reinforces patient instructions and education as indicated
Adapts to changes in a growing and demanding dermatology practice
Communicate well with outside providers including plastic surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, medical oncology and surgical oncology
Maintains confidentiality of clinic materials
Position Requirements:
BLS/AED preferred but not required
Graduation from an accredited MA or LPN training program preferred but not required
1 year dermatology experience (preferred)
Efficiency with iPad or similar tablet including typing and photography with the device
A positive attitude at work regardless of outside stressors
Willingness to learn new skills such as histotechnology and happily cross-cover all positions in the office as needed
An interest in skin care and cosmetics is preferred

Pay: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
