Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided Growth opportunities Field Work **Job Title: Direct Support Professional** **Duties:** - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs - Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration - Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors - Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individuals' progress **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in social work, nursing, or a related field is a plus - Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs preferred - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Must have a valid Driver's License. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality - Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed (lifting requirements may vary depending on the specific position) - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate and patient demeanor At 3M's Services LLC, we value our Direct Support Professionals and offer a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and development.
