This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in AWS cloud administration, Linux and Windows server management, automation, and enterprise infrastructure support. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud and on-premises infrastructure while ensuring reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence.RequirementsEssential Functions:Description / Essential FunctionsDesign, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC servicesMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud and on-premises environments to ensure system reliability and performanceManage Linux and Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenanceDeploy and maintain Windows desktop operating systems, including imaging, software deployment, configuration, and lifecycle managementRespond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrenceSupport enterprise problem management and operational processes to maintain service availability and stabilityImplement security best practices across cloud and infrastructure environments, including access controls, system hardening, and vulnerability remediationAutomate system administration tasks and infrastructure deployments using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, GitHub Actions, Bash, or PythonCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and secure infrastructure solutionsManage networking configurations and connectivity, including troubleshooting network-related issues in cloud and hybrid environmentsAssist with infrastructure projects, technology upgrades, and continuous improvement initiativesMonitor system health, performance metrics, and capacity utilization, proactively addressing potential issuesDocument system configurations, operational procedures, and technical solutionsParticipate in on-call support and incident response activities as requiredMinimum QualificationRequired Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience in Linux system administration3+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC3+ years of experience managing Windows Server infrastructure, including installation,configuration, patch management, and system maintenance3+ years of experience supporting Windows desktop environments, including imaging,deployment, and lifecycle managementStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and security protocolsExperience with cloud security principles and infrastructure security best practicesExperience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or GitHub ActionsExperience with scripting languages such as Bash and/or PythonProven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues in enterprise environmentsExperience supporting incident management, problem management, and operational support activitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and KubernetesStrong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skillsExperience working within large enterprise or cloud-focused environmentsAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or Cloud Practitioner) preferredExperience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure environmentsPosition Type/Expected Hours Of WorkContractRemoteStandard business hoursLimited travel expected
