Agile Architect

Akkodis is seeking an Agile Architect for a Contract with a client in Abram, TX. The ideal candidate will design and guide enterprise architecture while driving complex data exchange workflows and leading cloud-based integration initiatives .Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Agile Architect job responsibilities include:Architect and design end-to-end healthcare interoperability solutions leveraging HL7 FHIR (R4/R5), SMART on FHIR, RESTful APIs, and integration engines.Lead enterprise architecture initiatives across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and guide teams in implementing scalable, secure microservices and event-driven systems.Oversee integration with major EHR systems and ensure alignment with clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty care settings.Drive standards-based data exchange using HL7 v2, C-CDA, DICOM, and IHE profiles (XDS, PIX/PDQ), ensuring compliance and interoperability.Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to support decision support, quality measures, and terminology/ontology management (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD-10).Provide technical leadership, governance, and architectural oversight for large-scale health system integrations, mergers, and modernization initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Health Informatics, Engineering, or a related technical field.10-18 years of total IT experience, including 4-6 years in architecture roles and 3+ years in FHIR or clinical interoperability.Strong technical expertise in HL7 FHIR, SMART on FHIR, RESTful APIs, HL7 v2, C-CDA, DICOM, and interoperability frameworks.Hands-on experience with major EHR systems cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and integration engines (Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf).If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
