Depending on the travel assignment you are interested in, there will be a radius rule that must be met to qualify, which can be between 50 to 100miles. WorkFit Medical Staffing is actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to fill critical roles in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, monitor vital signs closely, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.This position offers competitive compensation and the opportunity to work with a supportive team dedicated to excellent patient outcomes.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical carePerforms initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data (i.e. physical, psychological, educational and risk-screen data appropriate for the chronological / developmental age of the patient)Communicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team. Utilizes all available resources in order to meet the needs of the patient and familyDevelops and documents plan of care, treatment and services which is individualized and appropriate for the patient needs, strengths, limitations and goalsComplies with organizational policies, procedures and protocols including policies governing safety, medication administration and documentationRevises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations and updates documentation appropriatelyCompletes at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form for submission to Nursing Research Department utilizing a research article from the last 5 years from research performed in the United StatesRequirements:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New YorkMinimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferredCurrent certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) requiredStrong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical skillsAbility to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesCompletes a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per yearCompletes mandatory in-services and health screens in timely mannerMaintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationRegistered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)Pay Rate: $Shift: All Shifts AvailableContract Length: 13 weeksStart Date: ASAPAbout WorkfitWorkFit Staffing brings over 30 years of medical staffing expertise, dedicated to helping healthcare professionals find the right opportunities to grow and succeed.
