Project Manager (Water / Wastewater)

Job DescriptionWe are actively seeking an experienced Water / Wastewater Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of infrastructure and construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in electrical construction, controls, and instrumentation within the water/wastewater sector. The right candidate will play a critical role in delivering successful projects by leading coordination, execution, and stakeholder engagement from preconstruction through close-out. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong backlog, collaborative leadership, and long-term career growth.ResponsibilitiesLead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, scheduling, and project close-outMaintain a comprehensive understanding of project contracts, stakeholders, and key prioritiesPrepare and submit monthly project status reports outlining progress, risks, and critical issuesDevelop and manage project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocationSecure required permits and verify subcontractor insurance complianceSchedule and facilitate project meetings to ensure effective coordination and executionBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and project partnersMonitor project risks and implement mitigation strategiesSupport business development efforts through participation in proposals and presentationsQualifications8+ years of construction experience requiredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience managing projects from start to finish successfullyExperience with electrical installation projects in the water/wastewater industryStrong understanding of controls, instrumentation, P&ID drawings, and SCADA systemsPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in engineering, business, or a related fieldExperience working for an electrical contractor on large-scale construction projectsExperience with complex infrastructure or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with alternative delivery methods and sustainability practicesCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $100K - $130K (depending on experience)Performance bonusesStrong benefits packageStable project backlogCareer advancement opportunitiesApply / ContactFor confidential consideration, contact Lee Stevicks directly at (605) 705-3635 or send resumes to lee.stevicks@gogpac.com
