Unlike a general porter role, this position focuses on high-impact technical cleaning tasks that require specialized equipment & advanced techniques.You will be responsible for traveling to various locations to clean based on the scope of the job ensuring that windows, floors, surfaces, &/or hard-to-reach areas are left in pristine condition & exceeding customer expectations.This is an individual contributor role that requires a high degree of self-management, physical stamina, & a "keen eye" for spots others might miss.Key ResponsibilitiesFloor Care & Restoration:Perform professional floor maintenance including stripping, waxing, buffing, & polishing hard surfacesExecute deep-clean carpet extraction & spottingOperate heavy machinery such as auto-scrubbers, burnishers, & industrial extractorsSpecialized Window Cleaning:Clean interior and exterior glass, mirrors, & partitions using squeegees, water-fed poles, or lift equipment as neededEnsure streak-free finishes & track/sill detailingHigh Dusting & Detail Work:Clear dust & debris from vents, light fixtures, ceiling pipes, & ledges (often requiring the use of ladders or lifts)Sanitize high-touch surfaces & architectural featuresEquipment Maintenance:Perform basic daily maintenance & cleaning of specialized equipment to ensure longevity & safetyReport any mechanical failures or supply shortages immediatelySafety & Compliance:Follow all OSHA & safety guidelines, specifically regarding chemical handling (SDS) & "CAUTION" signageSafely operate aerial lifts or scaffolding (as needed per job scope).Required Skills & QualificationsExperience:Minimum of 2+ years in specialized janitorial serviceOSHA Aerial & Scissor Lift Certification preferredOSHA PPE Certification preferredTechnical Knowledge:Proficiency with floor chemicals, dilution ratios, & the mechanical operation of industrial cleaning toolsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hoursAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. regularlyComfort working at heights (ladders & lifts)Attention to Detail: A proactive mindset to identify areas needing deep-clean attention without constant supervision.Department: Special ServicesPosition Type: Full-Time / Individual ContributorReports To: Special Services ManagerPay: Starting at $20/hourNote: This position may require an adjusted schedule (evenings or weekends) to perform services when the building is at low occupancy to ensure safety & efficiency.#Ramcleaners
