Location: Pacific Southwest Region, USA | OnsiteEmployment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Contract | Multiple PositionsApplicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.About the Role:Techner is seeking an experienced Ericsson BBU Integration Engineer to support end-to-end integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, and acceptance of Verizon wireless network sites across the Pacific Southwest Region. This role owns the full site-integration lifecycle — from SIF review and script preparation through Ericsson BBU integration, Nokia IXR-e router configuration, SiteBoss integration, alarm and call testing, and closeout — and requires regular travel to site locations.Key Responsibilities:Review and validate the Site Integration File (SIF) from the Verizon IOP Portal, confirming equipment scope, IP information, transport dependencies, and planned LTE/NR configuration against the approved RFDS/CD, work order, and MOP.Integrate and commission Ericsson Baseband platforms (6630, 6648, 6651, 6672), executing approved integration scripts and validating LTE/5G NR sectors, carriers, and radio relationships.Configure and validate Nokia IXR-e router interfaces — ports, SFPs, fibre paths, IP addressing, and VLANs — supporting BBU management, backhaul, synchronization, and SiteBoss connectivity.Configure and integrate the SiteBoss controller, migrate and validate external alarms, and resolve alarm mapping/communication issues.Perform or support call testing, data testing, E911 validation, alarm testing, KPI/RSSI review, and final On-Air readiness checks.Coordinate with Verizon FAE, NOC, Switch, Transport, RF, and GC/construction teams to resolve site readiness, cabling, access, and power issues impacting integration; maintain integration logs and submit the Closeout Package (COP).Requirements:4+ years of experience in wireless network integration, commissioning, or field engineering.Prior hands-on experience on Verizon wireless network projects is required.Hands-on background with Ericsson Baseband hardware (6630/6648/6651/6672), including ENM/AMOS, LTE, and 5G NR integration work.Comfortable working with Verizon SIF data, RFDS/CD documentation, and IP plans, and able to build and run site-specific integration scripts.Skilled in Nokia IXR-e router commissioning, port/VLAN checks, and CLI-based troubleshooting (SecureCRT or equivalent tools).Track record supporting Verizon site integration workflows, following approved MOPs, and handling live, service-impacting maintenance windows.Willing to travel to job sites, adapt to maintenance-window hours, and follow all site safety and access protocols.What We Offer:Competitive compensation based on experience.Full site-integration ownership on high-visibility Verizon wireless network deployment projects.Opportunity to work across Ericsson RAN, Nokia IXR-e, and SiteBoss technologies in one integrated role.Collaborative, fast-paced field engineering environment.
