API Product Manager

We are seeking an API Product Manager with 1–3 years of experience to oversee the developer experience across API products, ensuring smooth onboarding, testing, deployment, and ongoing adoption.Key responsibilities include:Owning end-to-end developer workflows from access requests to production launch and ongoing engagement.Defining and maintaining API strategy, roadmap, and backlog balancing customer value and technical feasibility.Creating and improving API documentation, tutorials, and support resources.Partnering with Engineering to develop sandbox environments, mock services, and self-service tools.Establishing and promoting API standards for naming, schemas, authentication, versioning, and error handling.Monitoring developer journeys, analyzing feedback, and prioritizing improvements to reduce friction and support costs.Leading research, usability testing, and coordinating API launches across teams.Communicating product decisions and progress to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with developer needs.Qualifications include:Experience owning or improving developer onboarding, documentation, and self-service workflows.Knowledge of API quality, lifecycle, and security considerations.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in an Agile environment.Bachelor’s degree required.Preferred skills: experience with developer portals, complex B2B integrations, or supporting external and internal API consumers.
