You will be responsible with helping and assisting the Food and Beverage manager with staff, overseeing of schedules and day to day operations of the Canteen. The goal is to ensure a high level of training and progression, making sure staff is engaged and participating in a responsible manner. You will work and play in the same innovative environments as professional and Olympic athletes.Discounts on food, retail and gear.Career Development and growth opportunities here and at our facilities across the globe.A connection with people who share the same passions and embrace each other's unique and individual styles.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOversight of Food Service Attendants and CashiersOperate the POS system to process sales, returns, and exchanges accuratelyFollow company policies for transactions, refunds, and discounts.Lead by example to guests and co-workers, creating positive and inspiring environmentCarry out the Woodward Guest Services standards – Be Safe, Be Friendly, Be Helpful, Be Proud.Support and communicate to staff the importance of utilizing tools that allow us to be efficient and ensure procedures and tasks are executed with attention to detailUnderstand and drive the process of selling and preparing foodMaintain ServSafe guidelines and HACCP protocol maintained including record keeping of all cooler temperatures, cooking, cooling and holding temperatures, ware washing temp, sanitizer ppm and thermometer calibration logsKeep the food service area organized and clean, both behind the counter and in the guest seating area.Serve menu items including but not limited to smoothies, coffee, ice cream, pizza slices, pouring sodas, serving hot and cold foodsSupervise opening and closing tasks, as well as communicate with the Food and Beverage Manager regarding needs and safety concernsAttend and participate in staff training to acquire knowledge for behavior management techniques, emergency evacuation procedures, etc.Communicate inventory of food and supplies to Food and Beverage ManagerCalmly administer patience and compassion with confidence to all guests-parents, campers, staff and VIP's.Communicate any and all maintenance needed to uphold a safe and sanitized food service areaOther duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities+/- 5-10 Food Service Staff+/- 10-150 CampersKey Skills And CompetenciesAbility to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a teamStrong interpersonal skills.
