Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java / Angular)Contract Position – 3-4 monthsLocation: Remote or Brussels (Belgium)About the ProjectWe are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join a short-term project (3-4 months) to integrate our internally developed Qualification Dataset Register (QDR) tool into the environment of a new European Commission unit.The mission includes technical integration, configuration, UI/UX customisation, and the development of specific new features tailored to the new unit’s needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java (Spring Boot) for the backend and Angular for the frontend.Lead the integration of the Qualification Dataset Register into the target environment.Implement UI/UX customisations and develop ad-hoc features as required by the new unit.Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, and stakeholders, to deliver seamless user experiences.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and industry standards.Implement and optimise database operations for performance and reliability.Conduct testing, debugging, and support deployment activities.Proactively identify and implement improvements throughout the integration process.Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.Strong proficiency in Java backend development (Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks).Expert-level experience with Angular for frontend development.Solid understanding of RESTful API design, development, and integration.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Outstanding spoken and written English (C1 level or above).Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-cultural team environment.What We OfferDaily Rate: 280 - 320 eurosOpportunity to work on meaningful European projects with real societal impactExposure to cutting-edge technologies (semantic web, knowledge graphs, modern cloud architecture)Collaborative, international team environmentProfessional development and learning opportunitiesUpcoMinds is a dynamic IT company with 29 years of experience that provides end-to-end web and mobile solutions, helping businesses to reinvent themselves in the digital world.
