The Regional Manager will be responsible for all hospitality and contract sales in the South region of the United States to include the states of AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN and TX.The compensation provides a competitive base salary plus commission, as well as allowances for automobile and cell phone.Key Responsibilities Sell our luxury Perennials and Sutherland brand across all three categories (furniture, fabric and rugs) into the commercial interior design space, including corporate offices, hospitality, country clubs, healthcare facilities, education, and more. Complete 10-15 in-person / virtual sales visits per week to potential hospitality / contract firms, fostering existing clients, creating new relationships, and presenting our company’s unique value proposition to secure business opportunities. Prepare and maintain travel schedule for assigned territory to include at a minimum of quarterly visits to key customers throughout the territory. Work closely with the Director of Hospitality Sales and other sales representatives to identify and close new business deals or expand existing business opportunities. Manage sales activity in Salesforce by updating notes on clients and sales strategy Report on key sales metrics to management on a regular basis to ensure activity goals are being met to maximize sales growth. Provide timely response and thorough resolution for any client issues related to Hospitality sales. Participate in national hospitality trade shows and identify regional trade show opportunities. Stay updated on local trends, market conditions and industry information to share with Hospitality Sales Director. Attend local hospitality networking events. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 10+ years sales, hospitality or service experience preferably in the furnishing/textile/interior design industry. Exemplify high-end customer service and a professional brand image of our company. Leverage established client relationships and use proven abilities to build new client base to drive sales growth. Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, high energy, adaptability, and internal drive for success. Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to travel approximately 30-40%.
