Our client is looking for a hands-on SDET who’s passionate about building reliable, scalable test automation for modern applications. In this role, you’ll focus on creating and enhancing Java-based automation frameworks that validate everything from user interfaces to APIs and backend data.You’ll be embedded within an Agile Scrum team, working closely with developers to ensure quality is built in from day one. The work centers on designing clean, maintainable automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JUnit, and seamlessly integrating them into CI/CD pipelines to support fast, confident releases.This is an opportunity to make a real impact by improving test coverage, reducing regression risk, and increasing delivery speed across complex, distributed systems. Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, document, and maintain automated tests and in-house test utilities.Develop test automation frameworks for front end, middle-tier services, and back-end data providers.Create, implement, and execute automated tests aligned to acceptance criteria.Experience RequirementsMinimum of 5 years in software quality engineering roles.Strong hands-on experience with API test automation using REST AssuredProven UI automation experience using Selenium with JavaExperience testing applications deployed in AWS environments, including validating cloud-based services and integrationsSolid understanding of end-to-end testing across UI, API, and backend layersAbility to work within Agile/Scrum teams and collaborate closely with developersEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
