Senior Data Engineer

The ideal Data Engineer candidate can be fully remote, will support hyper growth, responsible for managing and organizing data to support all business processes to achieve corporate and departmental goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop data pipelines from various data sources to target locations — including MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA/historian, and quality systemsDevelop and maintain accurate data structure and mapping documentation, including metadata aligned to specific business requirementsstandardizing data structure and types across ETL/ELT processesChampion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiencyProduce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutionsMaintain a strategic understanding of enterprise objectives, define appropriate project scope, and collaborate with data architects, application engineers, integration specialists, business analysts, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver secure, timely, and reliable data solutions to authorized users.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related science orMinimum of four years of progressive experience designing and implementing data models, developing data solutions, and integrating enterprise data platforms.Experience integrating data from manufacturing and operational systems such as MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA/historian, LIMS, or QMS is highly desirable.Hands-on experience with the AWS data stack (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lake Formation, Kinesis, Lambda, and IAM) for building, securing, and operating production data platforms is required; AWS Certified Data Engineer or AWS Certified Data Analytics certification is highly preferred.
