As a Manufacturing Mechanic, you'll help support the maintenance and reconditioning of industrial equipment used in steel manufacturing. This role plays a vital part in ensuring high-quality workmanship and safe operations at both our in-house facility and customer sites.Mechanic Highlights:Shift: 1st and 2nd shift availability1st shift 6AM-2:30PM M-F2nd shift 2:00PM-10:30 M-FLocation: Huger, SC (on-site & occasional customer visits)Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourHIRED ON Benefits: Paid time off, 401(k), medical/dental/vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, tool purchase program, tuition reimbursement, and moreEnvironment: Hands-on, collaborative, safety-focused industrial facilityMechanic Duties:Perform preventive maintenance and repair on production machineryTroubleshoot mechanical issues using diagrams, tools, and diagnostic instrumentsDismantle and reassemble devices using hoists, cranes, hand and power toolsConduct precision measurements and adjustments on mechanical partsMaintain clean, safe workspaces and follow all operational safety protocolsTravel to customer sites for on-location maintenance and repairsMechanic Requirements & QualificationsValid driver's license requiredAbility to read and interpret precision measuring instrumentsPrior mechanical or industrial maintenance experience preferredComfortable using hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic toolsAble to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor including climbing and kneelingMust pass pre-employment background check & drug screeningMalone is an equal opportunity employer2000057To Apply for this Job Click Here
