This role will focus heavily on embedded WiFi bring-up, driver integration, and wireless connectivity optimization within a virtualized Android/Linux environment.The engineer will work across low-level embedded systems, virtualization layers, Linux kernel development, and Android networking stacks to enable high-performance wireless connectivity for advanced infotainment and connected vehicle applications.Key responsibilities include:WiFi hardware bring-up and driver integrationDevelopment/porting of embedded WiFi drivers in C/C++Debugging across hardware, kernel, hypervisor, and Android layersPerformance optimization around throughput, latency, and stabilityWorking closely with hardware, networking, and platform teamsSupporting connectivity within virtualized environmentsIdeal background:Strong experience with embedded Linux and kernel-level driver developmentDeep understanding of WiFi standards/protocolsExperience with Android networking stack and WiFi frameworksExposure to virtualization/hypervisor environmentsBackground in automotive, IVI, telematics, or connected embedded systems is highly preferredBonus experience includes:Android Auto / Apple CarPlayCAN/Ethernet automotive protocolsBluetooth/cellular coexistenceRTOS conceptsPython or shell scripting for automation/debuggingThis is a highly technical role focused on advanced wireless connectivity challenges within modern embedded and automotive systems.
