SmartRecruiters Design Advisor (Implementation Support)

We are seeking an experienced SmartRecruiters subject matter expert to support the design and decision-making process during our ATS implementation.This role is advisory in nature—the consultant will not have direct system access or perform configuration. Instead, they will work alongside our internal team and implementation partners to guide design decisions, validate feasibility, and recommend best-practice approaches based on deep knowledge of the SmartRecruiters platform.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise on SmartRecruiters system capabilities and constraints to ensure design decisions are technically feasibleProvide recommendations on the optimal way to configure workflows, data structures, and user experience based on business needsReview proposed designs and identify risks, gaps, or unintended downstream impactsGuide the team toward scalable, maintainable, and globally consistent solutionsParticipate in design discussions, playbacks, and working sessions to validate approachTranslate real-world SmartRecruiters experience into practical, actionable guidanceAct as a thought partner to challenge assumptions and improve solution qualityRequired QualificationsDeep expertise in SmartRecruiters functionality and configuration logicPrior experience supporting or leading SmartRecruiters implementationsStrong understanding of ATS design principles and recruiting workflowsAbility to advise on “what will work in the system” vs. theoretical designsExperience influencing design decisions without direct system ownershipStrong communication skills and ability to engage with cross-functional stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting global or multi-region implementationsFamiliarity with HRIS integrationsBackground in Talent Acquisition operations or recruiting strategyWhat We’re Looking ForA trusted advisor who deeply understands SmartRecruiters in practice—not just conceptuallySomeone who can quickly assess a requirement and say:“Here’s how this should be designed in SmartRecruiters—and here’s why”Ability to balance business needs with system realities, ensuring decisions are both effective and executable
