The position also ensures quality certifications are in place, monitors past-due orders, and maintains accurate procurement data and KPIs. Additionally, the Senior Buyer supports audits, enforces procurement policies, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities, with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.What You’ll DoResponsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processPerform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accountsPrepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standardsReport monthly financial information in the consolidation system (DIVA)Manage cashflowAssist in the preparation and revision of yearly budgetsWork with the external tax consultant on tax filingMaintain fixed asset records and reportsAssist with annual internal and external audits.File monthly sales/use tax returns and annual 571L property tax reports.Reviews accounts payable Ensures timely and accurate payment of invoices and expense reportsPerform other general duties as necessaryResponsibilitiesDetermine appropriate GL accounts and business unit for each business transactionPrepare worksheet/calculation sheet in order to prepare proper journal entriesAnalyze business transactions and record the accurate financial data into JDE in accordance with Nitto Group Accounting RulesContinue to seek improvement in current processesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent of education5+ Years of experience in accounting/financial auditsExperience of BioPharma and or Material ScienceRequired SkillsDemonstrated leadership and decision-making abilitiesStrict attention to detail; highly organized and efficientTeam player with ability to collaborate with teams in other locations Ability to work with confidential informationAbility to work with a minimum of supervisionAbility to work with other functionsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPreferred SkillsExperience in Oracle JDE or MRP/ERP a plusUS CPA preferredPay range and compensation packageBase Salary: $85,000-$95,000 annually.
