Our products are used in marinas, waterfront developments, and marine facilities across North America.We operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where engineering, fabrication, and logistics must stay tightly aligned to deliver complex, custom projects.Position SummaryTopper Industries is seeking a Project Manager to own execution of projects from engineering through fabrication and final delivery.This is not a traditional, desk-based PM role. This position is responsible for driving execution across the business — working closely with engineering, procurement, and the shop to ensure projects stay on track, issues are addressed quickly, and teams remain aligned.You will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in improving how projects are planned, communicated, and executed as the company scales.What You’ll Be Responsible ForProject ExecutionOwn projects from engineering release through fabrication and deliveryBuild and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are clearly defined and metIdentify risks early and take action to keep projects on trackOperations CoordinationWork directly with fabrication teams to ensure production aligns with project schedulesCoordinate across engineering, procurement, and logistics to maintain project flowEnsure handoffs between departments are clear, timely, and completeCommunication & VisibilityServe as the central point of communication for project status, risks, and prioritiesProvide clear, consistent updates to leadership and internal teamsMaintain accurate project tracking, documentation, and reportingAccountability & Follow-ThroughHold teams accountable to deadlines, deliverables, and quality expectationsEnsure that when tasks are marked complete, they are verified and truly finishedProactively follow up on open items and prevent things from falling through the cracksProcess ImprovementIdentify bottlenecks and inefficiencies across engineering, procurement, and productionImplement improvements to scheduling, communication, and workflow processesHelp build more structure and consistency into how projects are executedWhat Success Looks LikeProjects are delivered on time with minimal surprisesEngineering, procurement, and production operate in alignmentProject status is clear, visible, and reliableCommunication is consistent and proactiveOperational issues are identified early and resolved quicklyQualifications3+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environmentStrong understanding of project scheduling, coordination, and executionExperience working cross-functionally with engineering, production, and/or operations teamsHands-on, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownershipAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills with the ability to drive clarity and accountabilityProficiency in project tracking tools (Excel, Smartsheet, ClickUp, or similar)Why Join Topper IndustriesReport directly to the CEO with high visibility and impactHigh level of autonomy and decision-making authorityOpportunity to improve and shape how the business operates as it scalesCompetitive compensation for top performersFast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong growth potential
