Project Finance Counsel

A growing organization in the clean energy sector is seeking a Project Finance Counsel to support its transactional and financing activities. This role reports to the General Counsel and will work closely with internal teams and external partners across a range of project-related matters. Responsibilities Support project financing transactions, including debt, equity, and construction-related structures. Draft and negotiate financing agreements and related documentation. Manage compliance with financing requirements, covenants, and related obligations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams throughout transaction lifecycles. Conduct legal due diligence and provide guidance on risk and documentation. Assist with occasional dispute or litigation matters as needed. Qualifications JD and active bar membership. 3-5 years of transactional legal experience. Experience in the energy sector required; renewable energy preferred. Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with standard legal and productivity software. This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, with in-office presence required Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. Occasional travel may be required.
