Your Next Career Move Starts HereThe RoleTitle: Business Systems AnalystLocation: Raleigh, NCWhat You Ll DoAnalyze initiative requests for feasibility and approachAnalyze system incident reports (problem analysis) and determine next stepsAnalyze issues and develop user stories, where appropriatePerform initial impact analysis of proposed modifications to existing applicationsCreate and document user stories and functional specificationsConduct client interviews as required to capture and document business processesWrite use cases and view specifications for application development and enhancementsDesign business processes and system solutionsSolicit and document ambiguous and dynamic requirementsPerform and support delivery team activities including planning, status reporting, and management of client expectationsParticipate in cross-functional teams to solve business problemsPerform customer and application support activitiesAssist in the troubleshooting of anomalies identified by end-usersProvide an estimated level of effort for assignmentsObtain project/solution approvalRequired QualificationsBA/BS degree required (Computer Science preferred) with at least 3-5 years experience with business support operations in a property and casualty insurance setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceSuccessful track record translating business needs into user stories to match those business needsAbility to facilitate teams and lead decision-making processes in a collaborative environmentProven understanding of Scrum processes; experience on product delivery teams using agile methodology is a plusAbility to communicate well and make effective presentationsWorking knowledge of diagramming techniques such as Functional Decomposition, Data Flows, Activity DiagramsExperience writing functional specificationsEffective communication and presentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of agile developmentWhy Golden Technology?Founded in 1997, Golden Technology has grown from a two-person vision into a trusted partner for Fortune 500 clients nationwide.
