Valid Minnesota medical license or IMLC certification
Board Certified in Oncology and Hematology
Proven experience in inpatient malignant medical oncology management
Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload of 20-25 patients daily
Skilled in special procedures related to malignant and benign oncology
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and supervise advanced practice providers
Proficiency in documentation, with same-day documentation for inpatient and outpatient cases
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work independently within a hospital inpatient service settingNice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in hospital-based oncology leadership roles
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Additional certifications in oncology or hematology specialties
Experience working in multiple hospital settings or with varied patient populationsPreferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO qualification from an accredited medical school
Minimum 3+ years of post-fellowship clinical experience in oncology and hematology
Experience managing inpatient malignant oncology cases and consultsOther Requirements:
Privileges at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, and Mercy Hospital
Credentialing completion within approximately 90 days
Availability for overnight call from home, Monday through Monday rotating schedule
Willingness to participate in hospital rounds, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration
