Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Design Engineer II at Interface you will own the design discipline across multiple projects, performing design/modeling tasks and seeking mentorship from senior staff.
Preliminary electrical design and layout
Preliminary load calculations
Researching commercially available equipment
System design with direction from mentor and/or senior engineer
Provide exemplary customer service to internal team members and clients
What You’ll Bring:
Required:
BS, Electrical Engineering
3-5 years MEP/AEC design and consulting experience
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of building codes and standards
Ability to perform multiple functions in multi-deadline changing operations
Ability to work effectively within a team‑orientated, collaborative environment
Preferred:
A Professional Engineering License
LEED Accreditation
Working IES‑VE knowledge
