Test Lead

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Test Lead with 10–14 years of experience in software testing, including strong expertise in Life Insurance and Retirement Services (Pension/401k). The ideal candidate will lead testing efforts for applications supporting retirement plans, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with regulatory and business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end test strategy, planning, and executionDesign and develop test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on FSDs and user storiesCoordinate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentOversee test execution, defect management, and reportingValidate complex retirement workflows such as contributions, loans, payouts, and RMDsEnsure compliance with industry regulations and standardsRequired Skills & ExperienceDomain ExpertiseStrong experience in Retirement Services / Insurance domainHands-on knowledge of:Defined Contribution (401(k), 403(b), 457)Defined Benefit plansRetirement transactions (contributions, loans, payouts, RMDs)Understanding of regulatory frameworks: ERISA, SECURE Act 2.0, IRS, DOLTechnical SkillsStrong expertise in Manual Testing (mandatory)Experience with Automation Tools: Selenium, UFT / LeanFTStrong SQL skills for data validationKnowledge of API Testing and Performance TestingFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologiesUnderstanding of OOP concepts and JDBCTools & FrameworksTest Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, ALMExperience in automation frameworks and reporting toolsSoft SkillsStrong leadership and stakeholder communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage teams and drive deliveryNice to HaveExperience in building/maintaining automation test suitesPrior experience in retirement or pension platforms
