This role will support oil & gas commercial applications and is open to candidates in Owensboro, KY or the surrounding area.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applicationsBuild and support cloud-native applications and services within AWS environmentsDevelop and maintain solutions leveraging AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and related cloud technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure teamsWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient codeParticipate in code reviews and mentor junior developersTroubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systemsContribute to architectural decisions and technical strategyEnsure application performance, quality, scalability, and responsivenessSupport CI/CD automation and modern deployment practicesRequired Qualifications5+ years of professional software development experienceStrong experience with either:.NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core), OR JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, front-end frameworks)Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, S3, and IAMSolid understanding of RESTful APIs and modern web architecturesExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or ReactExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesKnowledge of microservices architectureExperience working in Agile development environmentsPrior experience supporting commercial applications within the oil & gas industry is a plus
