Job Description Location: Dallas, TX Area (Onsite)Considering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.Compensation: Up to $185,000 Base SalaryRelocation Assistance Available for the Right CandidatePosition SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Aviation Systems Engineer to support the development, verification, qualification, and compliance of safety-critical electronic systems within a highly regulated aviation environment. This role will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure products meet regulatory, performance, safety, and airworthiness requirements throughout the product lifecycle.The ideal candidate will have experience supporting aviation, aerospace, avionics, or other regulated electronic systems programs involving certification, verification, validation, and qualification testing activities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport system verification, validation, qualification, and compliance activities.Develop and execute verification plans, test procedures, and qualification documentation.Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements.Support requirements traceability, design reviews, and certification deliverables.Coordinate with hardware, software, systems, and test engineering teams throughout product development.Participate in environmental, functional, and qualification testing activities.Assist with root cause investigations, corrective actions, and engineering assessments.Interface with internal stakeholders and external regulatory representatives as required.Support certification efforts from product development through final approval and release.Lead qualification and verification test activities, including coordination of laboratory resources, test schedules, and certification-related deliverables.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.8+ years of experience in aviation, aerospace, avionics, defense electronics, or other highly regulated industries.Experience supporting verification, validation, qualification, certification, or compliance programs.Working knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements and certification processes.Experience with requirements management, technical documentation, and test execution.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with one or more of the following:DO-160DO-178CDO-254FAA certification processesAirworthiness compliance activitiesAdditional preferred experience:Safety-critical electronic or embedded systemsSystems engineering methodologiesRequirements traceabilityProduct qualification and certification programsCross-functional engineering collaborationWhy Consider This Opportunity?Highly visible engineering role supporting advanced aviation technologies.Opportunity to work across hardware, software, systems, testing, and certification disciplines.Long-term career growth within a stable and growing engineering organization. xaygatp Competitive compensation package with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
