Employer-paid medical, dental and vision insurance and 401(k) plan with employer matching.Taylor Derrick Capital (TDC) is an SEC Registered Investment Adviser that provides debt and equity capital for real estate projects throughout the Western U.S. TDC has offices in Salt Lake City, Utah and Henderson, Nevada and is a growing, dynamic firm seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join its fast-paced Salt Lake City office.The Director of Investor Relations serves as a key operational leader and point of contact for TDC investors. This role is crucial in fostering and managing investor relationships, supporting fundraising efforts and ensuring transparent, consistent investment communications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Investor Experience & Operations. Deliver a high-quality investor experience throughout the investment lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing account management. Develop, implement and maintain standard operating procedures and operational workflows for investor-facing processes. Perform critical review of investor documentation.Relationship Management. Build investor confidence and trust with existing and potential investors, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices and RIA clients, through operational excellence.Communication & Reporting. Collaborate on communications for existing and prospective investors across current and future investment Funds. Coordinate and manage regular investor updates, quarterly reports, performance summaries and annual reports. Oversee investor communications for accuracy and consistency, ensuring that messaging aligns with investor needs and regulatory standards.Strategy. Oversee investor relations data tracking and reporting for Investor Relations Partner review. Liaise across TDC departments (e.g., Compliance, Finance, Underwriting and Asset Management) on reporting, communication and business initiatives.Systems & Records Management. Administer CRM and e-document signing platforms and data management to maximize efficiency of account administration and service efforts. Liaise with third-party fund administrator to ensure documentation and AML compliance and reporting accuracy. Identify new methods and technologies to enhance customer service, data reporting and communication processes.Team Leadership. Supervise, coach and mentor employees, ensuring alignment with department goals and service standards.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Education. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field required. Finance and Real Estate Investment coursework preferred. MBA strongly preferred. Experience. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in investor relations, securities or financial services, preferably within the real estate industry.Financial & Legal Document Acumen. Strong understanding of legal documents (e.g., subscription, Trust, entity and tax documents, PPMs), pitch decks, etc. Communication Skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with high attention to detail and ability to interact confidently with sophisticated investors and senior executives.Technical Proficiency. Investor portal (Juniper Square) and DocuSign administration and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency. Advanced Excel data manipulation paired with business intelligence skills.Additional Skills: Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving abilities.
